Retail Merchandiser

Job Title: Merchandiser
Salary: £7.70ph - £9.00ph (depending on experience)
Location: Various

Vibe Recruit's client is looking for merchandisers to join their team to work on ongoing projects around the UK.

We require merchandisers to go into various store's around the UK and implement new planograms and store plans. The role will involve visiting retail sites to merchandise/de-merchandise stock against a store brief. Projects can range from 1 night in store to 20 weeks. We look for our teams to work within an hour commute of home and any further, accommodation & travelling cost provided.

Responsibilities:
Using planograms to merchandise/de-merchandise stock
Profile shelving
Implement new promotions following a plan.
Store support, i.e. filling up shelves and working back stock
Relocating stock around the shop floor in a tidy and safe manner
Facing up stock and ensuring date rotation on perishable goods
Communicate effectively with your team manager and colleagues
Compliance with Health and Safety

Requirements:
Preferably a driving licence and access to a personal vehicle
Ability to work in a labour-intensive environment as some heavy lifting may be required
Retail (shelf stacking) experience - this is not 100% essential
Flexible with working away for short periods of time
Physically fit
Keen to potentially see a career in retail/merchandising
Good work attitude and keen to learn the ropes within merchandising and shop fit out sector
Understanding planograms

Desirable:
Retailing: 1 year
Merchandising: 1 year
