Job Description

Vibe Recruit's client, based in Crawley, has experienced significant growth over the past 5 years and as a result they are now poised for an exciting phase of growth in its next chapter.

They are looking to appoint a Sales Ledger Clerk on a full time, permanent contract with an immediate start.

Working within a small team reporting to the Credit Controller, you will ensure the smooth operation of all finance matters through inputting sales invoices and ensuring prompt payment from customers.

Essential duties & responsibilities:

  • Responsible for opening new customer accounts
  • Posting invoices
  • Reconciliations of sales ledger accounts
  • Prepare and send customer statements
  • Reconciling the bank
  • Credit control assistance
  • Processing online credit card payments
  • Chasing overdue invoices

Essential:

Relevant existing accounting experience at the Sales Ledger Clerk / Bookkeeping level, or studying for professional qualification, such as AAT or equivalent.

Bright, enthusiastic self-starter with a hands-on can-do approach.

Adaptable and able to grow within a fast moving environment.

Proficient in MS Excel.
