Manufacturing SAP (MRP) Systems Administrator £24,172 (including shift allowance)
Overview
Supporting the shop floor, involving updating and maintaining the SAP (MRP/ERP) system to ensure that customer orders are tracked and fulfilled throughout the process. The role would involve working an 8 hour 3 shift system, including nights, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
SAP System Integrity - Ensuring the accuracy of the data within the ERP system.
Pro-Actively communicate to internal colleagues and management, any system concerns, and understand the impact on production as well as business costs.
PI Checks, system closure, Lineside analysis.
Coordinate SAP users - delegation of work throughout the plant.
Challenging activities to improve system accuracy and individual adherence to system discipline.
Be able to train users and coach teams.
Support New Product Introduction.
KPI Generation.
Qualifications/Experience
"A" level or equivalent education or Manufacturing Teamleader experience qualified to NVQ level 2 Manufacturing operations
An understanding of MRP/ERP systems. Material requirement / Enterprise resource planning. However, applications from experienced Microsoft Systems users would be equally beneficial.
Understand/read ECR, to support throughflow of material.
User of Advanced Excel (spreadsheet, table), PowerPoint, Project, Outlook & Word.
Previous experience of managing customer demand.
An understanding of Material Flow through a manufacturing process.
Decisive, confident person who will address problems and identify opportunities and dealing directly with key users.
Problem Solving - Able to deal with problems with a methodical approach.
Analytical Thinking
Experience of working in a high volume manufacturing environment.
Experience of communicating with different levels of management within a busy manufacturing business
Advanced Excel (spreadsheet, table), PowerPoint, Project, Outlook & Word.
