We are recruiting for what is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Finance Assistant to join the Finance department of a well established, household name employer in Cardiff. If you would like to be part of a forward-thinking business and have a job with excellent career prospects, we would love to hear from you.

As Senior Finance Assistant you will:

• Provide financial accounting support to Finance management
  Represent Financial Accounts at monthly meetings with department heads.
• Represent the Finance Department on various panels for projects on Financial Accounts.
• Assess and improve the financial accounting processes
• Assist in maintaining and improving a strong financial control environment.
• Provide concise explanations of actual spend to Finance managers and department heads
• Prepare and review of monthly balance sheet control accounts, shop accruals and monthly cost analysis as well as administration budget centres
  Complete and review of balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assistance in preparation of monthly management accounts.
