SMT Operator

Vibe Recruit's client is looking to recruit a SMT Operator Reporting to the SMT Supervisor on a full time, permanent contract.

Main Duties and requirements are:

• Running and setup of SMT machines efficiently and productively to set targets, to include automatic screen printers and associated in-line equipment
• Ability to correctly change components during production cycle, using associated tools
• Perform offline setup accurately and efficiently, to include line balancing
• Ability to read and follow manufacturing documentation
• Understand the requirements of SMT assembly quality standards to conduct quality checks, preferably with a knowledge of IPC
• Ability to identify discrepancies, rectify (within scope of role) and feedback to SMT Supervisor
• Complete build process documentation relevant to production build requirements and ISO9001 quality procedures
• Component value and recognition
• Be able to perform basic machine maintenance on a weekly basis

Experience is preferred, but full training will be given to the successful candidate.
