Are you an experienced Supply Chain Manager seeking a new challenge where you can truly make a big impression? Do you have the ability to problem solve and think on your feet? My client offers a bespoke product within an expanding market. Due to rapid growth, they require an entrepreneurial candidate who will grow with the business and be part of an exciting journey. You will need to demonstrate commercial acumen and financial aptitude paired with the ability to drive the business forward.

The role

Reporting directly to the CEO you will manage all aspects of the Supply Chain including inventory management, stock and componentry planning, warehousing and logistics, distribution, both inbound and outbound
Definition and management of forecasting
Management of all aspects of the Supply Chain including inventory management, stock and componentry planning, warehousing and logistics, distribution, both inbound and outbound
Definition and management of forecasting and purchasing plans
Identification, qualification, and relationship management of all suppliers
Ownership of ERP system, with close collaboration with Finance Manager. Assess current/optimal systems and make recommendations/implementation
Negotiating all supply contracts
Driving best practice, proactively making recommendations, and identifying routes to continuous improvement
Development and reporting of KPI metrics
Ensure all suppliers are selected in line with the requirements of the Quality Management System and deliver in line with its requirements. This includes inbound QC
Annual business planning and budget management
Integration of supply chain in line with future potential buy and build strategy

Skills, experience and qualifications required
Consumer linked supply chain
Technically minded and an understanding of links between ecommerce, apps and user experience
Experience of working with ecommerce platforms and linking through to ERP
Ability to influence internally and externally
Passion for leadership, an experienced influencer and positive team player
Standard GCSE's
Professional development in supply chain fields
Lean/Six Sigma pathway and experience with ERP/MRP system
Strong people management skills
