The role
Vibe Recruit are proud to be representing an Engineering client based in Swansea who offer bespoke stainless-steel fabrications, hygienic process pipework, filtration and crossflow separation systems. Due to the development of internal talent they currently require an experienced Technical Sales Engineer. Working as a key member of the technical engineering team you should have the knowledge and commercial acumen to provide technical advice and support on engineering applications including filtration and process systems. If you are a degree qualified engineer looking to further your career technically and commercially.

Duties and responsibilities
Contact suppliers for information and competitive quotations
Produce details technical quotations
Negotiate contracts
Write technical visit reports
Exceed targets, objectives and timeframes
Arrange customer visits and engage in technical discussions
Carry out any other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as required

Essential skills and attributes
Engineering background with a knowledge of hygienic systems, pipework, vessels, fabrication, welding and machining, preferably in Stainless Steel
Ability to understand mechanical engineering drawings and visualise in 3D
Technical advice and problem-solving ability, coupled with good interpersonal skills and a natural communicator
Industrial Engineering background, ability to liaise effectively with maintenance and process engineers
Ideal for those interested in a technical engineering role, office based with national and international travel opportunities
Would suit detail/precision orientated candidates who enjoy a varied workload
Specific training offered to the right candidate displaying a sound engineering background
