Position: Trainee Sales Executive

Location: Oxfordshire

Type: Permanent

Salary: £25,000

Hours: Monday - Thursday: 8am - 5pm

Friday: 8am - 3pm

We are working with a leading manufacturer based in Oxfordshire who are looking for an enthusiastic Trainee Sales Executive to join their expanding team.

This role is a steppingstone for those who want to develop a career in Commercial/Technical Sales and/or Customer Account Management. It will provide learning and experience in both New Sales, Costing, Customer Relationship Management and Marketing.

You will be working closely with the senior management team and will be provided with full training developing your customer and project management skills to help flourish in your career.

Starting Salary £25,000 with a clear and fast progression for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate and build relationships with customers at all levels
• Shadow Key Account Managers to learn about the day-to-day commercial issues
• Work closely with teams across various departments i.e., engineering, production, quality, and sales to understand the manufacturing process
• Build up component and assembly costs using various costing model
• Assist in project handover from customer Purchase Order to the New Product Introduction team
• Support the BDM Manager to manage multi-channel marketing activities to develop brand and awareness

Skills and Experience:

• Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
• Ability to engage with customers and suppliers at all levels
• Willingness to learn and develop
