Training Officer
Job Type: Full- time, Permanent
Location: East London
Salary: £22,000 to £25,000 depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday within the hours of 8 till 6

My client based in East London is looking for a Training Officer to join there ever-growing leading debit resolution company. They are in need of someone with experience training a variety of different outlets as they have a range of departments both field and office based.

Duties and responsibilities (not limited to):
Identify training and development needs within the organisation through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with business managers and human resources department
Design and expand training and development programmes
Consider the costs of planned programmes and keep within budgets
Develop effective induction programmes for new staff, apprentices and graduate trainees
Monitor and review the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions with managers
Devise individual learning plans
Conduct appraisals
Produce training materials for in-house courses and manage the delivery of training
Create and/or deliver a range of training using classroom, online and blended learning
Ensure that statutory training requirements are met
Amend and revise programmes as necessary, in order to adapt to changes occurring in the work environment
Help line managers solve specific training problems, either on a one-to-one basis or in groups
Keep up to date with developments in training by reading relevant journals, going to meetings, and attending relevant courses
Research new technologies and methodologies in workplace learning and present this research.
