A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work on a permanent contract as a Transport Planner for our client based just outside of Abingdon.
The position entails the efficient and legal management of a fleet of 11 commercial vehicles including vehicle routing, managing drivers, customer liaison, maintenance planning.
The successful applicant must be computer literate, have good geographical knowledge of Great Britain, and have direct relevant experience of running a small fleet of trucks.
Specific details:
- Salary : £30,000
- Pay : Weekly or monthly
- Holiday : 20 days plus 8 days Bank Holiday
- Hours : 0800 - 1800. May vary due to operational requirements. 1 hour for lunch.
- Permanent full-time position.
Essential:
- Experience within the transport logistics sector
- Knowledge of working in a transport office
