Vehicle Mechanic

Vibe Recruit are looking for a Garage Technician/Mechanic for our Client in Swansea.

This role will involve:

Being part of a team providing a high quality, reliable and cost-effective vehicle maintenance service in order to provide the best possible vehicle availability and reduce vehicle downtime.

Carrying out repairs, inspections, services and MOTs on a varied fleet of vehicles to a high standard in accordance with relative manufacturers and legislative guidelines.

Key Duties:

Carry out vehicle inspections and repairs, including manufacturer warranty repairs and services, in a timely manner and against agreed deadlines, in accordance with supplier and Ministry standards.

Prepare and submit vehicles for annual MOT inspections.

Compliance with Safe Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Risk Assessments.

Provide a high level of support and guidance to the team when required.

Qualifications & Skills

• NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent, with suitable and relevant vehicle knowledge and experience.
• Good understanding of vehicles, with strong practical and fitting skills on mechanical and technical equipment.
• Good team worker, with ability to work unsupervised when required.
• Good problem-solving skills

Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5 pm

Saturday - 8.30am - 1pm

Temp to Perm.
