Warehouse Operative

Our client the UK's leading newspaper and magazine wholesaler is looking to recruit Warehouse Operatives.

Working on behalf of all major national and regional publishers, they distribute diverse range of print media to 30,000 customers, ranging from large general retailers to smaller independent newsagents.

Role Description To provide warehouse support to the distribution and returns of magazines. This includes the sorting, packing and return of goods in a timely and accurate fashion to increase retailer satisfaction and reduce claims.

This is a role for people, willing to move up within the company and develop themselves for their own development Supporting all aspects of the effective day to day warehouse operation including the sorting, packing and returns including the following:

Counting product from pack note, speedily and accurately to meet customer needs.

Scanning returns (attention to detail needed) Checking, unloading and processing items Ensuring a high standard of good housekeeping, Health & Safety, cleanliness and security.

Achieving targets

Retaining supplements

Ensuring all standard operating practices are adhered to.

Good English language and written skills

Nights Working hours;

Monday - Friday 6.00pm - 3am

It is essential you have your own transport due to finishing times.

Days Working Hours

Monday - Wednesday.

Mon - 09.00am to 4.30pm

Tuesday & Wednesday - 08.00am - 4.30pm

Tuesday to Friday

Tues - 11.00am to 8.00pm

Wed - 11.00am to 6.00pm

Thurs - 09.00am to 8.00pm

Fri - 09.00am to 7.00pm
