Warehouse Team Leader

Our client based in Blackwood is looking to appoint a Warehouse Team Leader. The ideal candidate will have excellent people skills who is able to direct and influence others. Must have an excellent customer service ethic and be able to meet deadlines along with being flexible regarding working hours. Must have experience of working in a very demanding and fast paced warehouse environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Control of picking and packing teams

Control of goods inwards areas

Site health & safety

Control of bulk areas

Control of distribution/carriers

Team development

QUALIFICATIONS:

Health and safety certificate - Ideal but not essential

Level 3 ILM Warehousing certificate - Ideal but not essential

EXPERIENCE:

Managing a large team

Knowledge of warehouse management systems

Knowledge of KPI's

Microsoft Office

Continuous improvement knowledge

Team development.
