Warehouse Teamleader £22,000 plus bonus plus paid overtime

Overview
An opportunity to move into a supervisory role within an efficient manufacturing business warehouse.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager in the course of the daily operational management including warehouse resource planning, staff performance and attendance management. You will be responsible for the supervision of a small warehouse team together with a team of re-work operatives, managing product movement through the warehouse ensuring operations are conducted safely, securely and efficiently to meet business deadlines and customer expectations.Â

You will be required to regularly monitor performance against standards and take appropriate actions to maintain and improve as required. You will complete monthly audits as defined by the Warehouse Manager and complete all corrective actions.Â

Experience Required

Possess a good working knowledge of all warehouse operations and procedures.Â
Ideally have strong people management skills, leading by example, engaging with colleagues at all levels, and have experience in managing a team of 5+ direct operatives.Â
Demonstrate proven ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels including handling difficult situations and be an experienced coaching manager.Â
You will need to search out solutions, be resourceful and use your initiative, drawing upon your previous management experience to make sound operational decisions.Â
Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, with grade C or above in Maths and English.
An understanding and application of Lean tools alongside continuous improvement procedures will be a distinct advantage.
Hours of WorkÂ
6am to 2pm. 2pm 10am Monday Friday
