Welder/Fabricator - Late shift - Abingdon - £28,000 - £34,000

Role: Welder/Fabricator

Location: Abingdon

Salary: £28,000 - £34,000 (14% late shift allowance)

Hours: Monday - Thursday - 14:15pm - 22:25pm, Friday - 13:00pm - 19:00pm

Overtime pay rate: Monday - Friday: Time and half

Weekend: Double

About the role:

Excellent opportunities exist for ambitious Welder/Fabricator to join a world class organisation at their manufacturing facility in South Oxfordshire.

The organisation is a specialist manufacturer of precision fabricated and welded products for highly regulated industries.

Responsibilities:

• Understand information prescribed within Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS)
• To complete a variety of non-welding activities such as forming, grinding, operate overhead cranes, Port pulling etc)
• Use a mixture of TIG and MIG welding techniques
• Inspecting, cutting, repairing, joining metal parts
• Communicate with other departments and interact with support functions

Essential Experience:

• Experience with TIG techniques
• Experience with fabrication techniques

Beneficial:

• Experience with MIG techniques
• Experience working with pressure vessels
