Vibe Recruit has recently joined hands with the JG HR Pledge to raise awareness and actively support its employees in attending breast screening appointments whilst having access to paid leave to be able to do so.

Around 55,000 women and 370 men are diagnosed with breast cancer every year in the UK so early detection through regular screening plays a crucial role in improving the chances of successful treatment. Despite the importance of routine screening, no legislation currently mandates leave entitlement for employees to attend these vital appointments.

The JG HR Pledge was created with the aim of addressing this issue and encouraging employers to introduce paid leave for their employees to attend routine breast screening appointments during working hours. It seeks to bridge the gap between work responsibilities and personal health, promoting a work-life balance that prioritises individual health.

By actively supporting its employees' attendance at breast screening appointments, Vibe Recruit not only fulfils its responsibility towards its staff but also contributes to the larger goal - raising awareness.

This collective effort can lead to positive change and improved access to breast screening for employees across the UK.

Join Vibe Recruit and the JG HR Pledge in taking a proactive step towards demonstrating corporate social responsibility and encourage other businesses to follow suit.
