CNC Machine Operator

We are currently recruiting for a CNC Machine Operator to join an international, leading provider of Heat Treatments in Gloucester working night shifts. The is a fantastic opportunity to join the production team providing the capability to fluorescent inspect thermally coated customer components and support the wider team.

As a CNC Machine Operator, you will:

• Prepare and machine customers components to meet drawing / specification requirements.
• Ensure machines are operated according to site and manufacturers recommendations.
• Monitoring and reporting on all material effecting processing.
• Stripping of flatbed components, as required.
• Calibration of site equipment.
• Loading & unloading of the sealing tank and completion of sealing tank records.
• Control / stock check of section consumables.
• Machine set up, grinding, and polishing of cylindrical components.

Skills:

• Previous experience in turning / drilling / milling / CNC / lathes & grinding.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
