Assembly Test Technician

Do you have good general knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and quality procedures? With the ability to read technical engineering drawings and circuit diagrams? Join our client in Witney as a Systems Assembly and Test Engineer, work 08:30 to 17:00 Monday to Thursday, and 08:30 to 16:00 Fridays, 37.5hour week and enjoy a company bonus, 25 days holiday, excellent pensions scheme and much more!

As Systems Assembly and Test Engineer you will:

• Produce system and project builds from engineering schematic/GA drawings and instructions
• Flush and test items to the correct test procedure
• Assemble items to the correct assembly procedure
• Generate all quality/test documentation and sign off ready for final QA sign off
• Ensure all work produced is to the minimum current QA standards
• Attend on going system design training
• Assist in other systems duties as required
• Produce the technical engineering production assemblies and/or systems for

• Systems builds and projects
• Filters
• Valves
• System sub-assemblies

The Systems Assembly and Test Engineer will have:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Educated to GCSE A to C level standard or equivalent in 3 subjects (inc. English and Maths)
• Experience of working with in a Systems Production Environment
• Worked with filters, accumulators, and valves, pipe fitting, pipe fabrications
• Previous experience working with stainless steel
• Basic turning and milling
• Previous experience with basic hand tools, hand lift cranes & physical ability for manual handling up to 25kg
