Are you an experienced Mechanical Assembler on the lookout for a new challenge with a well established, highly reputable, local firm? Can you read engineering drawings and use hand tools? Do you want great job variety and job satisfaction?

We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Assembler to join a leading manufacturer in Cwmbran. This is a great opportunity to assemble different components utilising machined and purchased parts which are compliant to drawing against the production plan.

As Mechanical Assembler you will:

• Assemble components to latest issue drawing
• Ensure components prior to assembly are as per latest issue drawing
• Ensure all check/inspection gauges are used in line with check procedures
• Modify parts to fit using power tools and off line machine(s)
• Record and report Non Conformance to component/drawing or p.list
• Feedback to engineering any assembly process improvement idea's drawing tolerance amendments required
