Biomedical Application Specialist

An opportunity is now available for a Biomedical scientist, with an interest and knowledge of medical/diagnostic equipment and processes.

The Application Specialist will be based in Central London, at a newly formed, innovative healthcare provider, who have a focus on improving preventative healthcare, using full body scans and AI powered insights.

Major Accountabilities

• The Application Specialist is responsible for providing onsite assay implementation, application support and application troubleshooting
• The delivery of customer operator training and coaching onsite and in training facilities.
• Perform new instrument and assay implementations through Test of Record (TOR)
• Perform on-site assay investigation, troubleshooting and operator training and coaching

Skills & Experience

• Medical technology/equipment experience is preferred
• Proven track record in a similar position supported by management and customer references
• Successful engagement with customers, specifically lab staff.
• Strong communication skills
• Technical expert for product line responsibility
• Strong experience in use of analytical tools and software
• Previous NHS or equivalent experience preferred

Education

• Bachelors degree in Biomedical Science/Engineering or equivalent
