Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Business Administrator to join a global solutions provider offering products and services to the energy market, based in Port Talbot offering £22,660 p/a plus bonus. Duties include supporting the procurement department, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of procurement operations.

As a Business Administrator you will:

  • Generate and manage raw material purchase orders in accordance with ERP requirements.

  • Create supplier quotations and engage in negotiations if necessary, obtaining favourable pricing and delivery terms.

  • Utilise the ERP system effectively identifying potential suppliers continuously seeking opportunities for improvement.

  • Address day to day challenges as they arise, proactively seeking solutions and collaborating with stakeholders.

  • Working within tight deadlines managing priorities effectively to ensure timely completion of tasks.

  • Contribute to the improvement of procurement and operational processes.

  • Provide general administration support to the department including being familiar with Microsoft Excel updating spreadsheets accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Relevant qualification in Business Administration.

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.

  • IT skills including Excel and ERP systems.

  • Excellent communication skills.

Hours of work are: 08.30 - 17.00 Monday to Thursday & 08.30 - 15.30 on a Friday
