Vibe Recruit are recruiting - Experienced Chef with IDDSI experience required!

Vibe Recruit are looking for an experienced Chef with Level 2 Food Safety and IDDSI experience to work on a flexible, ongoing ad hoc basis in the TA2 area.

This role is ideal for a Chef who has experience preparing IDDSI-compliant modified-texture meals and understands the importance of following specific dietary requirements.

Various shifts are available from 13th August onwards, offering an excellent opportunity for chefs looking for flexible daytime work.

The Role

You will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals to a high standard, including modified-texture meals in line with IDDSI guidelines.

Duties will include:

• Preparing and cooking standard and IDDSI modified-texture meals.
• Following individual dietary requirements and prescribed food textures.
• Ensuring meals meet the required IDDSI levels and consistency.
• Following menus, recipes and portion requirements.
• Maintaining excellent food hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Ensuring food is stored, prepared and handled safely.
• Monitoring food temperatures and completing relevant records.
• Preventing cross-contamination and maintaining a safe kitchen environment.
• Keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and organised.
• Following all health & safety and food hygiene procedures.

? What We're Looking For

• Level 2 Food Safety / Food Hygiene qualification - ESSENTIAL
• Previous experience preparing IDDSI modified-texture food - ESSENTIAL
• Good understanding of IDDSI guidelines and food texture requirements.
• Previous professional Chef/catering experience.
• Strong knowledge of food hygiene and food safety.
• Reliable, punctual and professional.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible and available for various dates.
• Enhanced DBS check required.
