Composites Finisher

We have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Composites Finisher to work with a specialist manufacturing business in South Oxfordshire.

Are you self-motivated with excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach? Do you have experience working with Finishing, Composites, Laminates, fibreglass?
As a Composites Finisher you will work in a team environment working on a range of products, with engaging with the finishing and repair of gel coat surfaces and GRP composite mouldings and produce a hight quality finished components for our busy manufacturing line.

As a Finisher you will:

• Assist in the finishing of mouldings. Trimming.
• Preparation, polishing, gel coat repairs and assembly of moulded components.
• Assist with the cutting and grinding of parts.
• Sand & Finish of edges using abrasives papers.
• Checking and identifying defects requiring rework.

Working hours for this position is:
Monday to Friday 7am to 3pm with a 30 Minute Lunch break.
This is a Permanent role paying up to £30,000 per year.

Experience required:

• Previous experience of Finishing GRP or paint finishes / detailing.
• Previous experience in working in high quality products.
• Experience working in a fast-paced production environment.
