Criminal Practitioner

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Criminal Practitioner based in Pontypridd.

We are working with a specialist solicitors based in South Wales, providing a range of legal services specialising in personal injury law, family law, wills and probate, criminal law, property sales and general litigation.

Criminal Practitioner Benefits:

• Up to £30,000 pa.

• Monday - Friday 9.00 - 17.00 plus overtime / on call.

Criminal Practitioner Duties:

• Prepare and present evidence for use in the criminal justice process.
• Assist partners in understanding the value of forensic evidence.
• Attend police interviews and court hearings.
• Manage case loads and provide general administrative support.
• Support victims and offenders with a wide range of offences.
• Be flexible with regards to working on an on call basis.

Criminal Practitioner Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience working with criminal law activities.
• Minimum 2 years PQE / solicitor / legal executive / police station representative.
• Utilise case management systems and LAA online portals.
• PSRAS certification required.
• Duty solicitor accreditation desirable.
