We are currently recruiting for a Depot Operative to join a growing, national healthcare firm in Basildon. The Basildon depot is really important and you will be working in a close knit team ( with full training provided ) to perform warehouse duties and repair, maintain and assist with the delivery of medical products to hospitals and healthcare facilities in Essex.

As Depot Technician you will:

- Use your assembly skills when being trained to assemble, repair and maintain mattresses pumps

- Showcase your warehouse experience when helping with goods in / goods out, stock takes and bar code scanning

- Be comfortable with helping to deliver and install medical mattresses on very rare occasions supporting the existing delivery drivers if required

- Be experienced in operating equipment ( after training ). This role will involve using decontamination equipment on occasion

- Use computer systems and be able to work to quality / health and safety procedures

This is a permanent role with great variety and excellent future progression prospects. This role has the option to progress into a Service Engineer role over time.
