We are currently recruiting for a Depot Supervisor to join an industry leading medical devices firm based just outside of Portsmouth in Petersfield. This is a great opportunity to join an already well run depot with a number of engaged, passionate staff whilst being able to put your own stamp on the successful operation of the site.

As Depot Supervisor you will:

• Ensure that all staff are fully trained and confident in the execution of their roles. This includes training staff to provide detailed instructions to customers and product end users, in the safe and effective use of equipment.

• Take leadership in the planning, ordering, consuming and accurate measurement of all spare parts/consumables within the depot.

• Lead and mentor of the team whilst dealing with staff appraisals and all appropriate HR related activities including performance issues.

• Display a flexible attitude to working additional hours if required to ensure company and customer deadlines/demands are met.

• Ensure that all shifts and out of hours periods are adequately covered, this includes cover for weekends and bank holidays.

• Ensure that all equipment issued, such as vehicles and tools, are well maintained.

• Build positive relationships with all other areas of the business.
