Despatch Operator

My client is looking to appoint a Dispatch Operator with a good understanding of Dispatch processes. You will have experience working within a manufacturing environment, using computer systems, logging paperwork and knowledge of SAP.

The main purpose of the Dispatch Operator will be to ensure all orders within the business are loaded and dispatched correctly and corresponding paperwork is checked and completed accurately.

Location: Cardiff

Salary: £25,355 - £35,232 depending on shift.

Main Responsibilities of the Dispatch Operator:

• Load product in a prompt manner, communicating relevant information to the Dispatch Team leader.
• Liaise with Production Team Leaders to resolve any issues that may arise in relation to unsatisfactory product
• Load vehicles as required, ensuring "zero" loading / delivery damage
• Preparation of all finished goods in conjunction with the companies packaging procedures. Ensuring stock levels are above minimum quantities.
• Communicate with haulers in relation to deliveries
• Ensure smooth running of deliveries, collection, customer returns, customer collections, adhering to all relevant procedures flagging issues to the Dispatch Team leader.

Qualifications:

• RTITB Forklift licence (Desirable)
• Combilift license (Desirable)

Shift pattern

Choice of either

Week of mornings, week of afternoons on a rotational basis

Or

Week of Afternoons, week of nights on a rotational basis.
