Engineering Estimator

Salary: £35,000

An opportunity for an experienced Engineering Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates and competitive tenders for engineering, machining and fabrication projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates and tender submissions.

• Review technical drawings, specifications and project documentation.

• Assess material, labour, equipment and subcontractor costs.

• Obtain supplier and subcontractor quotations.

• Identify risks and cost-saving opportunities.

• Support project teams with accurate scopes and cost information.

• Maintain estimating records and cost databases.

Skills & Experience

• Previous estimating experience within engineering, machining or fabrication.

• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

• Strong numerical, analytical and commercial skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and estimating software.

• CAD experience desirable.

Benefits & Hours

• £35,000 salary (depending on experience).

• Monday-Thursday: 7:30am-4:00pm.

• Friday: 7:30am-2:30pm.

• 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
