Facilities Coordinator

As Facilities Coordinator you will:

• Focus on delivering a great service to a selection of buildings located in Oxford City, North/West Oxfordshire including Chipping Norton & Bicester) alongside a second Facilities Coordinator (focussed on Oxford City, Abingdon and South Oxfordshire)
• Focus on hard and soft facilities management
• Manage maintenance and refurbishment budgets and work with the bookkeeper to keep records of all building expenses
• Collaborate with fellow Facilities Coordinator to use common systems, and file key documents
• Organise access to buildings, including issuing keys, recording key holders and key cutting
• Conduct fire and safety inductions for residents and new staff
• Maintain outdoor spaces/gardens, including contracting gardeners or support occupiers to maintain these spaces

Facilities Coordinator you will have:

• Good practical skills in DIY e.g. carpentry, plumbing, use of small tools
• Ability to respond to building and equipment emergencies
• Technical knowledge of building services, maintenance and utilities
• Practical experience in renovation or maintenance projects
• Experience managing contractors
• Sound knowledge of Health & Safety, fire control and other relevant protocols and processes related to building management
• Experience of budget monitoring
