Our client, who are currently on a massive growth trajectory are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Field Service Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will have a strong background in plant, electrics, hydraulics and mechanics.

As a Field Service Engineer you will:

• Service, repair and maintain JCB and other plant equipment to the manufactures specifications and to ensure machine reliability and safety.
• Have a keen eye for detail, reporting machine defects and upselling the services provided by the company wherever possible. This also comes with financial benefit for the candidate for all opportunities created.
• Successfully diagnose and rectify electrical, hydraulic, powertrain and various other faults prior to initiating and completing a repair.
• Operate diagnostic software via a laptop computer (training will be given)
• Accurately ordering parts with the parts department

What you will require to be successful:

• Relevant experience and qualifications e.g. City and Guild, NVQ Level 3 qualifications or equivalent to or greater than
• Experience in construction plant, diesel engines, electrics, hydraulics, transmissions, and fault finding using electronic diagnostic equipment
• Experience - knowledge and experience of a variety of machinery ideally in the construction or agricultural industry
