Location: Tredegar

Salary: £27,000.00 - £30,000.00 per annum plus benefits

The role

Vibe are proud to be representing a growing client based in Tredegar who currently require an experienced Finance Manager. Reporting directly to the General Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the Finance and Administration Department ensuring the smooth running of all Accounting tasks. You will be AAT Level 4 Qualified with excellent problem-solving skills. This role is integral to the success of the business and will suit someone possessing extensive experience working with SME's. In addition, you will have a proven success of providing robust internal financial support and analytics through using intuitive management information.

Duties and responsibilities

Oversee weekly payroll timesheet operations

Review P&L, A/C transactions, bank, payables/ receivables

Create new business portals onto Xero software system when necessary

Year End: File P60's, P11d's, Corp tax details to Accountants, R&D claims details to Accountants, Generate budgets & upload, salary & holiday reconciliations.

Manage monthly contracting project applications and invoices

Approve all purchase invoices & reconcile against relevant account

Account and banking transactions

Reconcile customer queries against their account

Oversee credit check operations/ statement reconciling

Skills, education and qualifications required

AAT Level 4

Excellent problem-solving skills

Wide range of accountancy knowledge fundamental

Strong communication skills

Good leadership skills

Excellent customer service experience
