Fork Lift Truck Driver / Yard Operative

£12.15 per hour rising to £13 per hour with excellent overtime opportunities and career progression

We are recruiting for an Fork Lift Truck Driver for a permanent contract to join a well-established, highly profitable firm with close links to some of the UK's largest construction companies in Pontypool. As FLT Driver / Yard Operative you will:

- Use you previous experience of FLT Driving to full advantage when being trained to effectively use a Combi Lift truck

- Be familiar with yard duties and adhere to strict health and safety procedures.

- Have the ability to load trailers, unload raw materials for production and keep the yard organised at all times.

- Help with production duties during quiet periods.

- Be eager to learn, develop and grasp any future career development opportunities as the company continues to grow.

This is a permanent, 40 hours a week position with the following working hours:

Monday Thursday ( 7:00am 4:00pm )
Friday ( 07:00 1:30 pm )

Due to ongoing success, overtime is readily available and paid at time and a half throughout the week and double time on a Sunday. You will have the opportunity to earn a highly competitive wage for the area. After probation, your basic salary before overtime will be £27,040 working a day shift pattern with plenty of opportunities to progress within the company as it continues to grow.
