HGV Driver/Assessor

Vibe Recruit's client, a UK based transport company, is looking to recruit a HGV Driver / Trainer Assessor on a full time, permanent contract.

Do you hold a Driver Certificate of Professional Competence and excellent knowledge of EU and Working Time Regulations?

You will be responsible for delivering professional training and development whilst supporting all drivers in the daily performance of their duties.

Duties will include:

*To carry out driving assessments and inductions on all new employees.

*To work with existing drivers to improve driving performances.

*New in house trained drivers are fully supported and mentored post examination with regular trainer feedback sessions.

*Identify areas of improvement and deliver via safety briefs, toolbox talks etc.

*To assist the Transport Manager in any other training requirements.

*Driver Trainers may still be required to complete store deliveries; trunking and/or collections as required where there is a business need.

Skills and Experience needed:

*A full UK driving licence which includes Category C (LGV)

*Experienced LGV 1 Driver (minimum 3 years)

*Up to date Driver Certificate of Professional Competence

*Excellent knowledge of EU and Working Time Regulations

*Working knowledge of Transport and other relevant Legislation

*Delivering training to groups/individuals
