HGV2 Home delivery Driver

Vibe Recruit are currently recruiting for HGV class 2 Home delivery drivers in Chepstow, Gwent.

From their depot in Chepstow, our client has been delivering domestic appliances to customers across the south of the UK for over a decade. This is an ongoing role for the right candidate. Presently our client is looking for hard working, customer facing delivery drivers. Previous experience is desirable, but not essential. What is required is the flexibility to be able to work weekends as required.

Shifts are typically 0600 starts. Saturday and Sunday are also required.

The Role requirements:

• Valid HGV class 2 licence, Digi card and CPC
• 1 year minimum driving in that class within the UK
• No more than 6 points for minor offences (No IN or DR endorsements)
• Flexibility to be on a 5/7 day rota
• Customer service skills
• Excellent communication skills- both written and verbal
• Due to the role, candidates must be physically fit. A lot of manual handling is involved

The role rewards:

• Hourly pay of £10-13 (guaranteed 8 hours per shift)
