HR Assistant

Location: Witney
Hours: Full-time - 2 year FTC

Salary: £15.38 - £17.95 per hour - depending on experience

Vibe Recruit are excited to be working with a well-established business in Witney who are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous HR experience or strong administrative skills looking to grow their career in Human Resources. You'll be supporting a wide range of HR processes, providing first-line HR advice, and getting involved in projects that make a real difference to the employee experience.

What you'll be doing

• Supporting the onboarding and induction process for new starters.

• Preparing contracts, offer letters, and general HR correspondence.

• Maintaining accurate employee records and updating HR systems (Workday, Absence Manager, trackers).

• Acting as the first point of contact for HR queries on policies including maternity, paternity, flexible working, and absence.

• Supporting employee relations casework, including note-taking and policy application.

• Producing HR reports, including headcount data, absence statistics, starters & leavers, and workforce demographics.

• Assisting with HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

What we're looking for

• Previous HR experience, or strong administrative background with an interest in HR.

• Confident using HR systems and Microsoft Office.

• Organised and detail-focused with excellent communication skills.

• Able to handle confidential information with professionalism.

• Proactive, adaptable, and keen to learn.

• CIPD Level 3 or working towards
