HR Consultant/ Advisor

Cwmbran, Torfaen

Temporary ongoing

Pay rate: £16.00 per hour

Vibe Recruit are working in partnership with a prominent Community based business based in Cwmbran who currently seek an experienced HR Consultant/ Advisor. Reporting directly to the HR Manager You will play a key role in the development of an excellent, effective and efficient HR service. You will do this through providing a responsive service enabling the business to manage human resources risks whilst delivering vision, values and the overall business strategy.

Duties and responsibilities

Manage an ER caseload including grievance, disciplinary, performance management (capability) and sickness and absence

Maintain an up to date knowledge of employment legislation and best practice

Monitor, review and report on key HR performance indicators which recognise best practice, support continuous improvement and provide relevant, accurate and timely feedback to managers, Heads of Service and SMT

Actively participate in any team corporate initiatives to promote personal development and support the other colleagues

You will have proven experience of positively contributing within a generalist HR role, developing and delivering excellent, proactive and responsive customer focused HR services

Contribute to the research writing and implementation of best practice human resource policies to ensure legislative compliance

Skills and qualifications required

CIPD Membership or a relevant HR Qualification

A practical knowledge and understanding of human resources legislation and statutory obligations

A general understanding of employee relations issues

Knowledge and understanding of workforce planning and HR metrics
