Machine Operator

A great opportunity! Vibe Recruit's client based in Merthyr Tydfil is looking for an experienced Machine Operator on a full time, permanent basis. The client is looking to hold interviews for this role asap.

Shifts - Rotating days & afternoons:

Day shift - 8.00am-3.00pm

Afternoon shift 3.00pm-10.00pm

The Role:

The machine operator role is to competently and safely operate all wrapping machines in the enrober, mallow and moulding machine.

The role requires expert knowledge of fault finding and problem solving in either the single wrap or multi wrap machines.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Must safely and competently operate wrapping machines across enrober, mallow and moulding departments.
• Performing all aspects of the role to the required standard in line with the written procedures identified in the training and assessment records.
• Accurately and legibly complete documentation associated with this role.
• Carry out basic maintenance
• Routinely monitor the quality of the product exiting the machines
• Set up and alter position of code on bagging machine
• Calculate the machine running speed
