Maintenance Technician

A really rare opportunity to join a team that value growth and development has arisen with my client in Ammanford who operate within the automotive industry.
They are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Maintenance Technician with an electrical bias to join their team.

You will play a key role in this fast paced environment, leading projects to develop production capabilities, driving and maintaining a solid foundation of total preventative maintenance whilst also providing a supporting role to production to ensure minimum downtime through dynamic fault resolution to real time problems.
The ideal candidate will have a background in the automotive industry, however experience of similar industries combined with appropriate qualifications and a professional attitude will be equally beneficial.

The ideal candidate should have:
Electrical Engineering apprenticeship / HNC / HND
PLC / HMI Experience. Diagnosis and Resolution.
Machine automation and Robotics
Familiar with computerised maintenance management system
5s, LEAN initiatives, Kaisen etc.

This role is a Full-time, Permanent position with a salary: £13.72 per hour
The successful candidate will be expected to work a pattern of shifts (1 week afternoons & 1 week mornings).
