Job Description

Are you a qualified and motivated Accountant looking for a new opportunity in a rapidly growing beauty and skincare manufacturing company? We are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join our clients finance team and contribute to their innovative and collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and performance reports.
  • Develop 13-week Cash Flow Forecasts and monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
  • Assist in the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasting processes.
  • Conduct cost analysis and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
  • Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
  • Handle accounting of financing/banking, including intercompany financing; RCF; loans; FX gains/losses analysis.
  • Manage supply chain reporting and supplier analysis, including tracking cost savings.
  • Conduct stock analysis and monitor obsolete, slow-moving stock, etc.
  • Monitor capitalized development spend, identify risks, and assist tax advisors with R&D claims.
  • Contribute to process improvements and efficiencies within the finance function.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in management accounting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CIMA designation preferred.
  • Experience in management accounting or related financial roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, collaborating effectively across departments.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software systems; SAP preferred.

Benefits:

  • Salary: £45,000 - £50,000
  • Four and a half-day week (12.00 finish every Friday)
  • 33 days holiday rising to 38
  • Hybrid working with 1 - 2 days per week WFH
  • 5% Employer Pension contributions
  • Company Sick Pay
