Position: Manufacturing Administrator
Salary: £30,000 - £34,000 + benefits
Location: Hereford
We are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Administrator to join the team based in Hereford with a well-established manufacturer that can offer great ongoing career development.
This role will also play a crucial role in supporting the continuous improvement of the process and technology of the business and build a basis to develop into a manufacturing engineer.
As a Manufacturing Administrator, you will:
- Demonstrate knowledge of manufacturing engineering tools (problem solving tools, MSA, 8D, SPC) and have the ability to problem solve.
- Provide an essential administration service for the engineering and manufacturing teams to help minimise waste, support with process control and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure specific projects are completed within timescales for different departments to improve the quality of processes.
- Effectively communicate with multiple departments involved in the production process on a daily basis supporting the teams.
- Maintaining electronic records of material disposition while creating and modifying standard operating procedures.
- Use your strong Microsoft Excel skills to full advantage when collecting and analysing data as well as producing regular reports for the Engineering department and senior management.
- Display technical writing skills
- Data analysis for Manufacturing Engineering and cover reporting when required.
Degree level or equivalent in STEM or Manufacturing field would be highly desirable.
