Manufacturing Operator

Vibe Recruit are working with a well-established manufacturing company within the Bridgend area. We are currently looking for an experienced Manufacturing Operator, who has previously worked with sheet metal. Experience with tool making and various welding process would also be beneficial. Initially this will be a temporary role with the potential of a permanent for the right candidate.

Role

• Prep sheet metal products using various chemical process.
• Use a variety of measing equipment and gauges, to ensure accuracy throughout the manufacturing process.

• Continuous Quality Checking of products as they move throughout the production line.
• Follow Health and Safety rules and responsibilities.

• Completion of welding tasks when required.
• Additional responsibilities may be added at the request of the supervisor.

Requirements

• Ability to understand engineering drawings.
• Experience prepping and finishing of sheet metal products.
• Ability to set up and operator various metal processing machines.
• Experience with a verity of welding processes.
• Experience as a tool maker.
• Experience with numerical control machines.
• Experience within a workshop environment.

Schedule

• Mornings, 6am - 2pm (Monday to Friday) Paid at £15.96
• Afternoons, 2pm - 10pm (Monday to Friday) Paid at £17.12

Overtime is also available.
