Reporting to the Customer Fleet Director you will be supporting Consultancy Accounts and Programmes across the business through providing technical support. You have strong involvement in executing well defined activities such as supporting the TDR review, reviewing/ updating shop visit predictions whilst carrying out monthly, quarterly and annual reporting. In addition to this you will also provide support on less complex aspects within the engine lifecycle.

Overview of tasks

• Table inspection of engine hardware
• Engine Health Monitoring (EHM) / Engine Condition Monitoring (ECM) reporting
• Invoice review
• Engine transition management
• Due-diligence review of all engine technical records
• Engine Physical Inspection
• Borescope overview
• Max Power Assurance (MPA) run overview
• Full shop visit management
• Overview shop visit management

Qualifications and experience required

• You will be educated to degree or apprenticeship level with a recognised Engineering Qualification
• Demonstrate a basic understanding of engineering principles and disciplines regarding turbine engines and being eager to develop this further
• Possess an awareness of the different engine OEMs, their engine types supported, and aircraft types on which they are installed
• Possess a basic knowledge of the commercial aspects in the aviation industry, for example leases and maintenance reserves
• Possess a basic knowledge of the financial aspects in the aviation industry, for example cost drivers at shop visits and methods of managing SV cost
• To possess an appreciation of the internal financial aspects within the business, for example Op Plan expectations, Year to Date and forecasted revenue, Year to Date and forecasted resource and related recovery
