Process Operator
Salary: £27,664 per annum
Location: Margam, Port Talbot
Hours: 4 x 10-hour shifts, Monday-Thursday (38 hours per week)

Overview

An excellent opportunity for a physically fit and hardworking Process Operator to join a busy and productive manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and control equipment using gauges, control panels, and computer systems.

• Weigh, batch, and load raw materials

• Take samples and record data to ensure product quality.

• Start up, shut down, and clean equipment

• Follow strict safety procedures and report hazards or process issues.

• Work as part of a team to keep production running smoothly.

• Handle 25 kg drums repeatedly during daily operations

Requirements

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Valid counterbalance forklift truck accreditation

• Full driving licence and access to own transport (essential)

• Ability to work unsupervised and follow simple instructions

• Attention to detail and strong communication skills

• Physically capable of manual handling

• Strong ability to multi-task effectively
