As Production Manager you will;

• Oversee all production operations
• Ensure adherence to full compliance to HACCP policies
• Deal with staff scheduling
• Ensure all operators are working in a food safe environment.
• Recruitment, Onboarding, and staff appraisals
• Training & coaching, regular 121 feedback discussions
• Resource planning for Holidays/Sickness absence
• Quality Control and Compliance: of backwards & forward traceability tests and product recalls
• Meet & maintain all standards of the external audit
• Ensure an efficient driver's schedule that meets the store needs
• Complete machine checks, booking servicing and repairs
• Cover the shipment production manager during holiday/absence.
• Liaise with other functions Finance, HR, Suppliers

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​The Production Manager will have:

• Experience from a production environment - Food & Beverage essential
• Proven ability to positively manage and lead teams of people
• Good working knowledge of relevant health and safety & Food Hygiene legislation
• MS Office - Intermediate Excel required
• Clear understanding of production & financial related processes.
• HACCP trained
• Strong leader: able to motivate and develop a team whilst maintaining the essential disciplines required for food production
• Clear communicator and a team player
• Highly organised - ability to plan, prioritise, and schedule as well as keep track of own workload and work to deadlines.
• Easily approachable with good interpersonal skills, creative thinking, and analytical skills
• Able to cope under pressure and respond to production peaks
• As the site operates shifts, you will need a flexible approach to offer support to all your team when needed.
• Driving License (essential)
