Permanent - Full time

Salary: £30,000.00 - £35,000.00 per annum plus benefits

My client offers bespoke designs for vehicles with upgrading interiors and remodeling to create the ultimate unique commercial automobile. Due to expansion they currently require an experienced Production Planner/ Scheduler. Reporting directly to the Production Manager you will work under limited supervision, performing routine tasks in coordinating new customer orders, existing customer delivery schedules, and finished product shipments. Plans and prepares manufacturing production schedules and departmental workflows.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Forward new orders and coordinates delivery with Production Control
  • Operate the master production scheduler
  • Keep pivot between Finance and Production
  • Continuously checking ETA's whit considering resourcing stock
  • Drive the MRP system, forecast and demand
  • Makes additions to master schedule, expedited delivery, special requirements and replacement components
  • Maintains customer delivery dates in line with customer requirements, and master production schedule
  • Allocates inventory to customer shipments and coordinates special requirements, and inspections Provides monthly ship from stock information to the Production Control Manager
  • Liaise with dealers providing constant updates

Skills, experience and qualifications required

  • You will have proven production scheduling experience understanding the difference between primary and secondary stage
  • Customer service orientated
  • Attention to detail and a very thorough approach
  • Excellent relationship building
  • Proficient in using all Microsoft office packages including word and excel
  • Experience working within a high-performance environment
