Production Technician

Vibe Recruit is currently seeking enthusiastic and motivated Manufacturing Assistant Technician to join our highly successful and growing client based in Cwmbran.

Hours: 07:30 to 16:00 Monday to Thurs /07:30 to 13:00 Friday

Pay rate: £12.44 per hour

Weekly pay.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain production equipment
• Follow production schedules and ensure deadlines are met
• Monitor production processes and make adjustments as needed
• Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues
• Covering any basic site maintenance tasks that may arise, changing light tubes, attending to leaks, checking fire extinguishers, etc.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment
• Ensure safety procedures are followed at all times
• Keep accurate production records
• Collaborate with other departments to improve production processes

Skills:

• Previous experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred
• Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude for working with tools
• Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and diagrams
• Attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
