My client based in Oxford is looking for a Quality Engineer to join them on a permanent basis. They will be required to monitor and improve the quality of our clients' operational processes and outputs.

In this role you will be required to design quality standards, inspect materials, equipment, processes, and products, whilst developing quality control systems and determining corrective actions.

The successful candidate will be reporting into the Operations Director and will lead the changes necessary to steer the business towards ISO 9001:2015 accreditation.

Key Responsibilities

-Drive the design and implementation of an ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS)
-Update QMS with incidents, fixes and improvements
-Audit systems based on ISO 9001:2015 requirements
-Determine appropriate quality metrics for all critical business processes
-Monitor the entire production lifecycle and perform regular tests to identify potential malfunctions as early as possible
-Inspect product materials and electrical systems for defects and durability
-Identify the root of technical issues and recommend containment and prevention solutions
-Prepare reports on malfunctions and corrective actions

Experience & skills
-Experience of the requirements of ISO9001:2015 essential, knowledge of ISO 17025 also desirable but not essential
-5+ years of experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, or a similar role.
-Quality auditing
-Previous work experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role
-Hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and testing methodologies
