Registered Manager

• Interim cover for 3 - 6mths 
• Working hours will be Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm (37 hours per week) flexibility.
• £25.61 per hour.

The successful candidate will be required to complete the SC2 form, a successful candidate will also need to pass a fit person interview with Ofsted. An enhanced DBS will be needed and also a health check.

This position - A registered Manager within a beautiful setting in Gloucestershire,

The home is for 1 young person who displays high levels of behaviour that challenges and has complex needs – staff ratio is currently 4:1.

The accommodation and staff team will provide a stable environment, consistency for the young person as well as providing the appropriate care that is required to support this young person through day to day living and integration into the community and into adulthood.

 Essential

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare
• Experience working with Children and Young people with Complex needs and Challenging behaviour.
• Have been a Registered Manager – broad knowledge of Ofsted and regulations and the ability to implement them.
• Leadership and management skills – ability to lead a team and achieve the best outcomes for everyone, have good organisational skills, knowledge of performance management. Commitment to delivering high quality service delivery.
• Care planning.
• Have vast knowledge of child development and childcare legislation, regulations regarding code of conduct and practice, care act, mental capacity, valuing people etc.
• Extensive knowledge and experience of safeguarding practises.
• Risk Management.
• Knowledge and experience in Budget Management.
