Repair Technician

Repair Technician - Based in Aberdare - Permanent Role
Working hours: 7.45am - 4.30pm, Monday to Thursday and a 1pm finish on Friday (39 hours per week)

VibeRecruit is working on behalf of an established electronic manufacturer who carry out full assembly, testing & distribution from their main facility based in Aberdare. Their services are targeted towards a range of sectors including defense, avionics, medical, automotive and the domestic market.

Due to increased operational requirements they are currently seeking a Repair Technician to carry out repair and retest work of mechanically wired & soldered assemblies and PCB's using the appropriate testing equipment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for repair work, whilst ensuring wiring, soldering or mechanically assembled equipment are consistent with quality standards at all times.


The ideal candidate will come from a similar electrical manufacturing background with a demonstrated track record of assembly & PCB testing. They will require experience using digital multi-meters, LCR meters, oscilloscopes and machine testing equipment.

Must hold a HNC qualification in Electronics, or have a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.
An excellent ability to solder is an essential skill for this role.

Ability to read electrical schematics & engineering drawings is also an advantage.
