Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Sales Administrator to join an outstanding commercial dealership based in Cardiff, working for an award-winning Welsh business.

As a Sales Administrator you will:

  • Manage administrative tasks required to complete a vehicle order from point of order to delivery.
  • Process sales orders using Kerridge in a timely and accurate manner from receipt, arranging of PDI, sub-contractor work then vehicle valet.
  • Source vehicles as required, conducting any dealer searches and subsequent transfers necessary to fulfill the order.
  • Work with the Sales Progress Co-Ordinator to book any vehicle movements including final customer deliveries or transfer collections.
  • Chase suppliers where necessary for progress updates.
  • Order vehicles via factory ordering system.
  • Process financial support claims within the times imposed.
  • Process part exchanges - including HPI checks, settlements, and VAT invoices.
  • Organise delivery or handover working with the Business Manager.
  • Complete taxing, using either the AFRL system or DVLA V55 paperwork.
  • Order and control of dealer stock vehicles - factory ordering to specification required, control of vehicle through stock files on iStores.
  • Manage databases ensuring details are accurate and up to date.

Sales Administrator Skills & Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the motor industry is essential.
  • Strong administration knowledge to include proficient IT skills including Excel.
  • Ability to handle pressure without it affecting working relationships and effectiveness.
  • Previous experience using Kerridge.
